See Nature from a New Perspective During The Summer Creek Hike Series
Join NICHES Stewardship Director Bob Easter for the Summer Creek Hike Series! We're inviting you to explore nature from a new perspective – a perfect hike for the entire family.
Escape the summer heat and immerse yourself in the beauty of Indiana’s creeks and waterways. These guided hikes offer the perfect opportunity to cool off while learning about the unique ecosystems that thrive in and around our local streams.
Because it's hot and you'll be getting wet, we suggest you wear a swuimsuit and comfortable shoes. We also recommend bringing along water, snacks, sunscreen, a walking stick. Each hike will last approximately 2 hours and will feature some uneven terrain.
Join us the following dates:
- Big Shawnee Creek - July 5, 10 am - Noon at NICHES Whistler Hare Woods Preserve in Fountain County
- Wright Rock Creek - August 2, 10 am - Noon at Gladys & Al Wright Rock Creek Preserve in Warren County
- Big Pine Creek - August 30, 10 am - Noon at Crow's Grove Preserve in Warren County
