This quarterly newsletter covers new additions to staff and properties, exciting project updates, and outreach highlights. Zach Neff introduces himself as NICHES’ newest full-time Steward and outlines his plans for the organization, and the summer’s Seasonal Stewards each write about their experiences with NICHES. Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator Sam Cody recaps the history of Adventure Camp and the success of this year’s program. A special article by the NICHES LEAP Pipeline Subcommittee discusses the sustainability of water pipelines to the proposed LEAP Lebanon innovation district. Bob Easter honors the life of Lois Farris and her donation of 400 acres to NICHES upon her passing. He also outlines NICHES’ restoration plan for the property as well as the community members whose help he’ll be enlisting for the project.
