MLK Volunteer Day at Fisher Oak Savanna
Description
Join us at our Fisher Oak Savanna Preserve in Jasper County from 11am - 2PM (EST) for our first volunteer workday of the year! We will be helping move logs and downed brush away from a fire break in preparation for our March 2026 burn season. Please dress accordingly for the weather and consider bringing boots, work gloves, a water bottle, and a snack.

If you are interested in carpooling with us to Fisher Oak Savanna from our Clegg Memorial Garden Headquarters in Lafayette, please click HERE to reserve your spot in our 15-passenger van. We will be meeting at Clegg promptly at 10am and will return directly after the workday concludes at 2PM.
