Description

Join Stewardship Director Bob Easter for a tour of the new trail at Laura Hare Bend of the Wabash East preserve. While hiking, we'll discuss the ongoing restoration on the site, and point out the positive effects of our stewardship practices. 

The new trail at Laura Hare Bend of the Wabash East is an expansion of the Granville Sand Barrens and Roy Whistler Wildlife Area trail loops. This hike will take participants through Granville Sand Barrens, Roy Whistler Wildlife Area, and Laura Hare Bend of the Wabash East. The hike will be approximately 4 miles on relatively flat terrain. Visitors should wear long pants and sturdy walking shoes.
