Sand Ridge Cemetery Volunteer Workday

Saturday March 15th, 2025 (12:30pm - 3:30pm)
Where:
Sand Ridge Cemetery (3220 S River Rd West Lafayette, IN 47906)
What:
Volunteers will help control nonnative yucca by spading up their tuber root systems at Sand Ridge pioneer cemetery- managed by NICHES to protect remnant prairie species. Parsnip predator spades will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own. This event will be dependent on non-frozen soil conditions. Bring gloves, sturdy boots, warm clothes, water, and a snack.
