Celebrate 31 years of conservation with a special birthday hike at Laura Hare Bend of the Wabash East! Be among the first to explore a newly opened trail while enjoying scenic views, restored native habitats, and the beauty of the Wabash River landscape. Stewardship Bob Easter will lead this hike through the restoration area.
This guided 4-mile hike will last approximately two hours and offers a wonderful opportunity to experience one of NICHES Land Trust’s newest public trail experiences while learning more about the ongoing restoration and stewardship work taking place on the property. Whether you are a longtime supporter or discovering NICHES for the first time, this birthday celebration hike is a meaningful way to connect with nature and the lands you help protect.
