"Welcome to the Dark Side" Mothing Event at Clegg

Description
Welcome to the Dark Side: Mothing in Indiana
Friday, October 3rd (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Join Indiana moth expert, Jeanette Jaskula, for a fascinating evening on the Dark Side as we explore the secret life of moths. The evening starts with a presentation about the joy of moths, from their stunning colors, patterns, and behaviors to their important role in our ecosystems as pollinators and members of the web of life. After the talk, we’ll convene outdoors to see what moths visit the light set-up. We’ll also walk a bait trail to look for moths attracted a mixture of beer, brown sugar, and over-ripe bananas that we spread on tree trunks. Children and families are welcome. Don’t forget to bring a flashlight.
