Do you love storytelling, conservation, and connecting people to meaningful causes? NICHES Land Trust is seeking a full-time Communications Coordinator to help share the stories, impact, and opportunities that inspire people to protect the natural places they love.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, organized, and mission-driven professional who wants to make a tangible difference for conservation in Northern Indiana. Working closely with our Development Director, the Communications Coordinator will lead efforts in marketing, communications, public relations, and membership engagement while helping grow support for NICHES' mission.

From writing articles and social media content to designing promotional materials, managing newsletters, and building relationships with local media, this role plays a key part in connecting people with the lands, waters, wildlife, and communities we serve.

Position Details

Location: Lafayette, Indiana (onsite at NICHES headquarters at Clegg Memorial Gardens)
Salary: Starting at $42,000 annually
Benefits: Paid vacation and sick time, health insurance eligibility, and up to a 3% SIMPLE IRA match

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Is an excellent writer and communicator
Enjoys creating content across print, digital, and social media platforms
Has experience in communications, marketing, project management, or a related field
Is comfortable using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, MailChimp, and social media platforms
Can manage multiple projects while staying organized and detail-oriented
Is excited to learn about conservation and share the impact of NICHES Land Trust with the public
