NICHES Float Trip on Wildcat Creek – Adam’s Mill to Knopp Lake -- 11:00 am Join us for a 2-3 hour float trip down scenic Wildcat Creek. Canoes provided or you can bring your own canoe/kayak. Limited to 12 guests needed to use NICHES’ canoes.

This guided trip will take us past three NICHES Land Trust preserves and feature striking sandstone bluffs, glacial relict white pines, and an active bald eagle nest.\NAlong the way, NICHES staff will share insights into ongoing efforts to preserve and restore habitats along this cherished waterway, as well as the historic campaign that protected the Big Pine Valley from being dammed in the 1970s.\NPlease plan to meet at 12:00 PM EST in the parking lot of our Crow’s Grove Preserve in Warren County. NICHES will provide canoes, paddles, and life jackets. Participants are also welcome to bring their own canoe or kayak if preferred but will be responsible for their own shuttling.\NWe recommend bringing swimwear, water shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, water, snacks, and a dry bag.\NIf water levels are too high for a safe float, participants will be notified in advance by email.
